It's the afternoon and you are looking for that pick me up. I love a good cup of tea and a slice of banana bread whether it be at 3pm on a day I am a little hungrier than usual or on the weekend toasted for breakfast. While snacking is not necessary, many of us get sweet cravings in the afternoon due to many reasons - from stress to poor dietary choices. Whatever the reason may be, the fact is it's better to have a delicious alternative for those who enjoy their afternoon sweets, rather than continuing on the blood sugar roller coaster.
This banana bread is delicious and nutritious. It contains real ingredients rich in quality fats to keep the body satiated and high in nutrients that the body needs including antioxidants. It's gluten free, dairy free and soy free. As always I offer substitutes for those who are sensitive to certain foods.
