A huge part of healing is finding out how your body works. Educate yourself and look at what is really going on behind the scenes. It can answer many questions such as:
- Why is your body hanging on to weight?
- Where are all these anxious thoughts coming from?
- Why can’t I stop craving sugar?
- Why can’t I eat anything without my gut hurting?
- Why is my skin so itchy?
- Where is all this acne coming from?
- Why am I so tired?
- And many more!!
The more we continue to place a band aid and rely on quick solutions such as medications, the more questions we have pop up later in life. I am not saying these things aren’t helpful but, in many cases, they are a short-term solution. Cut the apple in half, look inside and find the worm at the core.
You will find confidence and strength within yourself when you know how to truly heal from the inside out. The body is amazing at healing itself… if you listen to its whispers (or shouts!). In today’s fast paced world, it gets harder to listen to those signs and symptoms and eventually (whether months, years or decades later) we begin to rot from the core. Finding out what is behind your pain and suffering is the first step to truly healing.
Many of us today are so focused on what’s going on outside us, we forget about our bodies and all the organs inside working hard to keep us alive every day. Your body is the most important asset you have, it must carry you for the rest of your life. It loves you unconditionally and wants you to thrive.
